Every year, on 14th November, Children’s Day is celebrated across India on the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first prime minister. This day is a tribute to the prime minister’s love and affection for kids, fondly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’ among children. This day is also honored to spread awareness about children’s rights, education, and welfare. However, this day is not a gazetted holiday. Various events, such as performances, music, dance, and other activities, are organized by schools.
